DC-born Darius Wolley spits snapshots like a Polaroid of misguided moments that shaped his life over a synthy trap beat co-produced by Jrob (credits include Cyhi the Prince, Redman) and Recinotes (credits include J Cole, Kanye West). “Reminisce” is the first leak from his upcoming project To Whom Much is Given.
About Darius Wolley
Darius Wolley was born in DC, raised in notoriously poverty-stricken Southeast and later in the college-town suburbs of College Park, Maryland. The dichotomy of his upbringing is reflected in his music as a songwriter and artist, which frequently juxtaposes edge and enlightenment. Although relatively new to industry ears, Darius is no stranger to music, creating songs that speak the truth of young America.

"Featuring appearances from Grammy-nominated singer Carolyn Malachi and Amsterdam-based L’Afrique Som Systeme member Papa Ghana, “Blessed” teems with energy as it features a fiery production of drill-like electronic effects, whipping percussion, and what sounds like a sinister sitar."– OkayAfrica
Brooklyn based Rapper and Producer FORE has just unveiled a new single, "Blessed" from his upcoming LP, The Stranger via OkayAfrica. "Blessed" features Grammy-nominated singer Carolyn Malachi and Amsterdam-based L’Afrique Som Systeme member Papa Ghana. FORE will be performing live in Brooklyn later this month at Lone Wolf for UNCOMUN fest on Friday, 10/31 and in November at The Branded Saloon on Friday, 11/14 with NorvisJr, Landisles, and Knife City. Please feel free to post and share.
Originally from Harare, Zimbabwe, FORE is a Brooklyn based Rapper and Producer. As a recent immigrant to the United States, FORE’s music draws largely from his childhood growing up in Belgium and Botswana as well as his adolescence in New Delhi and Berlin. This inherently nomadic lifestyle has punctuated his work with a host of different cultural influences, usually unique to hip-hop as a genre.
FORE’s music is articulated by complex rhyme schemes, a modern sense of emotional honesty and a unique artistic vision. He’s currently performing with a hybrid live / electronic ensemble that couples skilled instrumentalists with live sample manipulation and vocal effects to create an authentic and engrossing experience. FORE’s upcoming album, The Stranger, employs lush soundscapes, live instrumentation, and surprising musical and thematic turns to weave a coming-of-age story into larger themes of immigration, identity and self discovery.
