Biography
Razor, is a hip-hop artist and producer from Carol City, FL. He has been grooming himself as an artist since his first solo recording at the age of 12 with his musical mentor Rudy Reid. Razor has been a part of several groups including Physical Wonders, Dark Half and, Pressure, who had a local hit single called, “Cock It Back.” He toured with Dark Half for several years opening for several notable acts such as Mystikal, Ying Yang Twins, Trick Daddy, G-Unit, and 2 Live Crew. As a solo artist, Razor has released 5 mixtapes, Razorburn, Razorblade, Mr. M-I-A, Vol.
1, Mr. M-I-A (Reloaded) – The Streetz Iz Mine, Mr. M-I-A 2.5: Mailed From a State Correctional Institution and one collaborative project Twin Towers with label-mate Grief under the name Da Undabosses. Razor has garnered an impressive local following with singles, “Snapper,” “No Liva,” “M-I-A,” “Feeling Myself” and “How to Grind.” Additionally, Razor has quite an impressive production resume producing tracks for both local up-and-coming artists as well as some of the industry’s hottest names including Ice Berg, AJ, DJ Rhymer, Trigga, Rick Ross, Brisco, Gunplay, & Freeway. The final installment of the Mr. M-I-A series, Me and My City, was released in 2013 leading with the R&B-infused single, “Ringtone.” His drive combined with talent, creativity, authenticity and an incomparable sound make Razor an artist to watch.
